Learn More About Our Bone Broths
Our bone broths for dogs are a must have essential in your cupboard for everyday use in your dog’s diet. Bone broth is the world’s number one supplement for dogs offering a huge variety of natural minerals and proteins vital to support your dog through all ages of life.
Did you know bone broth naturally has some of the top nutrients including:
Magnesium, Phosphorus, Gelatin, Collagen, Glycine, Glutamine, Protein, Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Glucosamine, Chondroitin sulfate, Calcium and Electrolytes
The nutrients in bone broth are amazing to support your dog’s wellness. Whether your dog is unwell, or you are looking for maintenance of health, then giving them a small amount of broth daily can help improve their digestive function (no more sloppy, stinky poops), make their coat shine, their nails strong, and their skin clear, as well as supporting their immune system and improving brain health and much much more.
Our Bone Broths
At Boil and Broth, all our broths have been developed using science research. Bone broth by nature isn’t cheap, so we believe that if you are spending out on broths, then you should get a broth that does what it should do.
The nutrients in broth are extracted from the bones during our pressure-cooking process. Pressure cooking retains the nutrients for longer and reduces the amount of power we use. Because the bones hold all the nutrients, we add in more bones for more nutrition.
We do not add any other ingredients with our broths, we simply use three ingredients; bones, water and a little bit of apple cider vinegar for mineral extraction, but there is none left in the final product.
Broth Dehydration Benefits
Once our broth is made, instead of freezing our broths we dehydrate them. For many years we would freeze our broths, but recently with the rising costs of energy and supplies, we had to find a more affordable way to preserve our broths without having to pass on the cost to our customers. (Read more about our sustainability here).
Dehydrating broths makes broth so much easier to use and extends the shelf life enormously. All liquid broths must be used within 5 days. But with dehydrated broths, they can stay in your cupboard or on your shelf for two years. Even once you’ve opened them. To rehydrate our broths, all you do is add boiling hot water, stir and serve to your dog once cooled.
We also have an amazing feature with our broths where you can turn them back into a jelly collagen. Watch this video here to learn more about how to do this.
