Rachel Down
Rachel Down is Founder and Managing Director of Boil and Broth Ltd. Rachel started Boil and Broth back in 2018 after she found the bone broth and kefir water helped to reverse Candida overgrowth and Leaky Gut Syndrome. Rachel lost 2 ½ stone in 12 weeks and 6 stone in two years. Naturally, she went into business wanting to help others. Rachel also started studying a BSc Health Science degree at the Open University. She was keen to understand more about gut health and also the products she was making. Rachel developed all of the products on her science knowledge and since then the products have been innovated with health science always in mind.
It was not long after Rachel launched the business, that she realised a lot of people were buying bone broth for their dogs. Rachel applied for a pet food license and Boil and Broth became the first bone broth manufacturer to hold a co-located license to produce bone broth for humans and pets,
Over the years, Boil and Broth have grown and we now have a small team dedicated to producing quality gut health products that have proven results in aiding and healing the gut. Rachel is very excited to work on the Biome Broth Study as this type of study is something she has wanted to do for a very long time.
Recently, Rachel Down wrote an ebook called Gut Health for Dogs – A Ultimate Guide To Your Dog’s Wellness. Rachel has recently appeared on podcasts, webinars, and other video platforms telling more and more people about the benefits of bone broth.
