Shipping Policy
At Boil & Broth, we aim to get your order packed and on its way to you as quickly as possible.
Please read the information below before placing your order so you know when your parcel will be dispatched, how it will be sent and what happens if there is a problem with delivery.
International Deliveries
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to ship overseas. Please contact us to see if we have a distributor in your area.
Dispatch Times
Orders placed before 11am Monday to Friday will normally be dispatched the same working day.
Orders placed after 11am Monday to Friday will be dispatched the next working day.
We do not dispatch orders on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
For example, an order placed after 11am on a Friday will be dispatched on Monday, provided Monday is not a Bank Holiday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation using the contact details provided when placing your order.
Please remember that dispatch time refers to when your parcel leaves Boil & Broth. The time it takes to reach you will depend on the delivery service used.
Shipping Charges
Shipping is charged on all orders.
The applicable delivery charge will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Shipping costs are calculated based on the size and weight of your order.
Orders weighing up to 3kg are sent using Royal Mail.
Parcels weighing over 3kg are sent using Parcelforce.
Make the Most of Your Shipping
If you're ordering heavier products, we recommend adding more items to your basket to make your shipping cost more economical.
This is particularly worth considering when ordering our Water Kefir, as each bottle weighs approximately 1kg.
Once your order reaches the heavier shipping bands, adding additional products to the same parcel can often provide much better value than placing several smaller orders.
So, if you're stocking up on kefir, bone broth, treats or other Boil & Broth products, it's worth making the most of the available parcel weight when placing your order.
Safe Place Deliveries
If you choose to have your parcel delivered to a nominated safe place or provide delivery instructions requesting that it is left unattended, you do so at your own risk.
By providing these instructions, you authorise the courier to deliver your parcel in accordance with your request.
Once Royal Mail or Parcelforce has confirmed that your parcel has been delivered to your nominated safe place or in accordance with your delivery instructions, responsibility for the parcel passes to you.
Boil & Broth cannot accept liability for parcels that are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged after successful delivery in accordance with your instructions.
If you believe your parcel has not been delivered in accordance with your instructions, or it has been delivered to an unauthorised location, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate the matter with the courier.
Incorrect Delivery Address
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.
If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we'll do our best to update the address.
Once your order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed or that the parcel can be recovered.
If your parcel is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete delivery address was provided when placing the order, you will be responsible for the postage cost to resend your order.
Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us by Royal Mail or Parcelforce because delivery could not be completed, we'll contact you to discuss your options.
You may choose to:
- Have your order resent, in which case you will need to pay the additional postage charge; or
- Receive a refund for the eligible products in your order, less any return postage or delivery costs incurred by us.
We are unable to refund postage costs that have already been incurred where the parcel has been correctly dispatched to the address provided by the customer.
Delivery Delays
Once your parcel has been handed to Royal Mail or Parcelforce, delivery times are outside our direct control.
Occasionally parcels may be delayed due to circumstances affecting the postal or courier network.
If your parcel appears to be significantly delayed, please contact us and we'll help investigate the delivery with the relevant courier.
Please remember that estimated delivery times provided by Royal Mail or Parcelforce are delivery estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates, unless you have specifically purchased a guaranteed delivery service.
Missing or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, or you believe an item is missing from your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order.
Where appropriate, we may ask you to provide photographs of the parcel, packaging and/or products so that we can investigate the issue with the courier.
Please do not dispose of damaged packaging until we have confirmed that it is no longer required for the investigation.
