Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still buy 120g pouches?

Yes. Please head to our sister brand British Broth Company. All our broths are the same for humans as we make for dogs.

When will my order arrive?

Monday – Friday we generally ship same day, so in most cases you will get your order next day, or the day after. When ordering over the weekend, your order will be shipped on Monday.

Can I pay over the phone for my order?

We don’t have the facilities to take money over the phone, so it’s best to order directly from our website or from a pet retailer.

Can I collect my order?

If you are local and want to collect your order from us, then that is fine. Please email info@boilandbroth.com to let us know.

Why is your broth expensive?

Actually, our broth is no more expensive than the liquid broths. Per serving for small dogs our broths cost
67p and other liquid broths are around 73p. The confusion with our broths is that people don’t realise that you don’t need much of the broth powder to rehydrate for your dogs. They only have small tummies and do not require much. Instead, consistency is the key – giving your dog broth daily.

How much broth should I give my dog daily?

We recommend you follow our feeding guidelines for your dog’s weight. If your dog is suffering from tummy upsets or has a gastro problem, then it is perfectly safe to give your dog a couple of servings of broth a day to help settle their tummy. Broth is also great if your dog isn’t drinking very much. Broth can help hydrate with important electrolytes.

Will you be bringing back frozen bone broth for dogs?

It is not in our plan to return to frozen broth, although we do make frozen broth for some well-known pet brands. Our passion is dehydrated broths as these are the future of bone broths. They are helping our business to be more sustainable and profitable in this current climate. Couriers not delivering and broths defrosting during transit has always been a problem for us, especially during the hot weather. But now, we can post your bone broth through your letterbox. And, it’s easier for you to store and use.
