At Boil and Broth, we are passionate about our environment too which is why we are working hard to be as sustainable as possible. We also believe in encouraging others to do the same what’s good for our planet has to be good for us too.
Here are some of the ways we are doing our bit for the health of the planet.
We are very excited to announce that we are DPD’s first-ever customer to offer a service to our customers where they can return their packaging to us.
For us to send a parcel to our customers we need to add lots of expensive packaging from Woolcool insulation in the summer months to foil insulation at other times, not to mention the ice packs and boxes themselves. We’ve been asked a few times by our customers if they can return their packaging to us and now this is possible because of our new arrangement with DPD.

We are also happy to take other food business’s packaging, so this is another way we are helping to reuse what’s already in circulation.
We use DPD to deliver our parcels and they are a carbon-neutral company with a big vision on their carbon footprint in the future.
Our plastic bottles are made from recycled plastic and can also be put in the recycling bin when you have used them.
Some of our bottles are glass, you can either reuse the bottle yourself or place it into the recycling bin.
Unfortunately, we do not have any access to pouches that can be recycled. This is something we are working on.
We use bones from animals that would otherwise go to landfill. Our apples, for apple cider vinegar, are sourced from local orchards – often apples go to waste.
